The Personal Response or Review

The personal response in English responds to an artistic work such as a novel, verse, a film or a theatrical performance.

A response will also consider it's audience and where it will be published.

Structure	Language Features	Comments
Context of the artistic work	paragraphs beginning with a topic sentence description through the use of noun groups technical terms action verbs thinking and feeling verbs words that express feelings	Provide details such as the title of the text, the composer's name and a very brief summary of the content.
Description of the artistic work		Describe the key features of the text such as: the content characterisation language - print and/or visual other literary techniques
Judgement of the artistic work		Provide a critical and a personal analysis of the text and a concluding evaluation or recommendation.
