Follow the links to find some Area of Study worksheets  to help you in your studies.

  1. Follow this link to find some resources you can use as related material for Journeys. Here you will find a suggested reading list with indications as to the focus area(s) they are suitable for:

  1. How to put it all together it all together and write an Area of Study essay.

  1. Some exam style questions to practice doing.

  1. There are a few things you need to be sure about each text which is why you must make a close study of each text. You need to understand what the composer's meaning is and how that meaning has been created.

  1. This next link will show you how to make connections between texts. If you can manage to organise your information so that you can 'look' across your texts, the chances are you will see where texts have common features and where they are different. The next - and important - step is to work out why there are common elements and differences. Doing this will show you to be a thoughtful and capable student and it will give you a stronger argument.
